This appeal follows the recent decision by the Administrative Court of Basse-Terrea overturning the dismissal of Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique Fanon-Alexandre, Director General of Services for the General Council, who had previously been dismissed \u00abon disciplinary grounds for serious misconduct\u00bb by the General Council\u2019s new presidency following the change in the majority within the departmental government. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0CALL<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since October 2008, the former Director General of the Department\u2019s Services has been the target of a full-fledged harassment campaign.<\/strong><\/p>\n

4 years during which,\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>In front of the police (she was taken into custody)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>In court (financial and judicial)\u00a0<\/strong>She has repeatedly stated (though her words have gone unheeded to date), using the exact same words as her former employer, the President of the General Council;\u00a0<\/strong>That she benefited from conditions related to her position, which were already in effect and authorized.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That the General Council, through three unanimous resolutions, had granted her these provisions (which she chose not to take full advantage of).<\/strong><\/p>\n

That her employment contract as an employee included these provisions\u00a0<\/strong>That the job description for the staff member assigned to the residence was consistent with his or her duties.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As if that weren\u2019t enough, Ms. Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique FANON-ALEXANDRE was dismissed for serious misconduct without waiting for the final ruling from the Council of State.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ms. Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique FANON-ALEXANDRE is a native of Martinique who is widely respected for her integrity and competence in every position she has held.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Praised by Aim\u00e9 CESAIRE, with whom she would work for 16 and a half years, and a close collaborator of Claude LISE, who consistently recognized her merits, Ms. Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique FANON-ALEXANDRE was also honored and recognized by the government, which praised her commitment to Martinique.<\/strong><\/p>\n

She served the City of Fort-de-France and the General Council of Martinique with loyalty, integrity, and dedication for nearly 35 years!\u00a0<\/strong>The accusations leveled against him are profoundly unfair, unjust, and unacceptable.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Convinced of the legitimacy of his struggle for dignity,\u00a0<\/strong>We offer him our full support and genuine solidarity, and call for an end to the legal proceedings against him.<\/strong><\/p>\n
