A privileged doctor saving the life of a homeless person\u2026 In the intensive care unit, you see a Jewish person caring for a racist\u2026 A police officer and a prisoner in the same room receiving the same care\u2026 A wealthy patient awaiting a liver transplant, ready to receive an organ from a poor donor\u2026 It is in these moments, when the hospital touches people\u2019s wounds, that different worlds intersect according to a divine plan. And in this communion of destinies, we realize that alone, we are nothing. Most of the time, people\u2019s true nature is revealed only in moments of pain or in the face of the real threat of an irreversible loss. A hospital is a place where human beings take off their masks and show themselves as they truly are, in their purest essence.<br \/>\n<em><strong>Life will pass quickly, so don't waste it fighting with people.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Don't be too hard on yourself about your body. Don't complain too much. Don't lose sleep over bills. Don\u2019t forget to give your loved ones a hug. Don\u2019t worry too much about keeping the house spotless. Material possessions must be earned by each person: don\u2019t devote yourself to building up an inheritance.<br \/>\n<em><strong>You\u2019re putting off too many things: Christmas, Friday, next year, when you have money, when love comes along, when everything is perfect<\/strong><\/em>\u2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Listen, perfection doesn\u2019t exist. Human beings can\u2019t achieve it because we simply aren\u2019t meant to thrive here. Here, we have the opportunity to learn. So make the most of this life\u2019s journey\u2014and do it now. Respect yourself; respect others. Follow your own path and let go of the one others have chosen for you. Respect: don\u2019t comment, don\u2019t judge, don\u2019t interfere. Love more, forgive more, embrace more, live more intensely!
