Projects Shaping the Future
Of the 24 initial entries, eight projects were shortlisted for the finals, each offering an innovative solution to contemporary issues.
- Dominique Dupré and his Garage Solidaire in Saint Martin, the first of its kind in the region, offers auto repair services at affordable rates and provides vocational training programs.
- Johan Barclay with ACT2WIN, an anti-waste platform that helps retailers reduce their unsold inventory while promoting more responsible consumption.
- Marie Koné Curron and Drive Guyane, An innovative carpooling platform that makes safe and affordable travel in French Guiana easier.
- Johan Luzieux and Mada No Clope, a project to collect cigarette butts aimed at raising awareness and reducing pollution in Martinique.
- Thierry Ichelmann and NR&C Ma Corde Décimale, An initiative to combat numeracy difficulties by helping children develop an understanding of numbers starting in preschool.
- Jérôme Nadessin with CGPIKS-OCEAN, qHe organizes underwater expeditions in Guadeloupe to raise public awareness about the preservation of marine ecosystems.
- Antoine Le Berre with Matinik Pani Laj on a Bike, which offers tricycle rides for seniors, helping them stay active and connected to the community.
- Cynthia Yerro and the Reverse Advent Calendar, encouraging donations of essential items in the run-up to Christmas for people in need.
