On Monday, October 2, 2017, the members of Martinique Transport, meeting as the Board of Directors, voted unanimously—with four abstentions—to Extension of the TCSP's passenger trial run, with free rides, pending the commercial operation phase.
Pending the final report on the test run which is intended to help determine operating costs and, consequently, the fare, the president of Martinique Transport, Alfred Marie-Jeanne, proposed offering free transportation as part of the trial run.
Accordingly, it is asking CACEM to take the necessary steps as soon as possible with the concessionaire, CFTU, so that the High-Level Service Buses can begin carrying their first passengers as part of the trial run.

Furthermore, following a proposal by the President of Martinique Transport and in order to address the projected deficit, the members of Martinique Transport voted unanimously to increase the CTM’s share in Martinique Transport, which will help boost revenue.
The Board of Directors of Martinique Transport is expected to meet again in about two weeks.
You will be kept regularly informed of the progress of the operation.
