    C’est chaud. Si la température moyenne mondiale augmentait de 2°C, un milliard de personnes seraient exposées au phénomène de stress thermique extrême, a indiqué le service national britannique de météorologie (MET), ce mardi. Un état qui survient lorsque la chaleur torride et l’humidité se combinent, et qui met en danger les fonctions vitales. Il est alors difficile pour le corps humain de maintenir sa température autour de 37°C. Cela peut entraîner une déshydratation, un épuisement, des difficultés de circulation sanguine, des problèmes cardiovasculaires ou des coups de chaleur qui peuvent finir par être fatals. Aujourd’hui, environ 68 millions de personnes sont déjà exposées à ce phénomène, selon le MET.
