GBH is stepping up its game in the automotive sector: the Martinique-based group has acquired DASIR, a Lyon-based distributor of auto parts. With this strategic acquisition, GBH is taking a major step forward by establishing a foothold in France, strengthening its logistics expertise, and accelerating its expansion plans in the European auto parts market. GBH has announced the acquisition of DASIR, a French family-owned business specializing in the distribution of automotive replacement parts to a professional clientele.

With a long history of operations in overseas territories, GBH has been supporting the mobility needs of individuals and professionals for more than sixty years through three business segments: vehicle sales through a broad network of dealerships; short- and long-term rentals; and the distribution of tires, accessories, and replacement parts. Over the years, GBH has developed recognized expertise in the import and distribution of replacement parts, building on strong partnerships with manufacturers and major parts suppliers. Already well-established internationally (Ivory Coast, Morocco, Algeria, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Mauritius, Madagascar, and China), GBH is reaffirming its strategy of geographic diversification through this acquisition in mainland France, by partnering with companies that share the same values of commitment to customer service.

Rodolphe Hayot, CEO of GBH: «We are very pleased to welcome DASIR to GBH. We share common values with DASIR, particularly the value that places people at the heart of our decisions and believes in success driven by enthusiasm and collective commitment to serving our customers. This acquisition will enable us to sustainably enhance the quality of our services, expand our expertise, and better meet our customers» needs. It injects new momentum into our automotive parts business and underscores our commitment to growing in this sector in mainland France, across Europe, and globally.”

DASIR: A New Step Toward Accelerating Growth

Founded in 1956, with a strong presence in the Lyon region, in Vitrolles (Bouches-du-Rhône), as well as in Limoges (Haute-Vienne), DASIR manages 120,000 product lines sourced from 120 suppliers. The company delivers more than 3 million parts each year through its various logistics hubs and has established itself as a leading player in the auto parts market. DASIR is a key partner for automotive spare parts professionals, offering a distinctive delivery service with H+4 delivery in the regions where it operates and J+1 delivery throughout France.

Pascale Lefeuvre, President and CEO of DASIR: «True to the entrepreneurial spirit that guided its founding in 1956, DASIR has always been committed to serving its customers with recognized expertise in the distribution of replacement parts. Reliable, fast, and responsive, DASIR is much more than just a supplier—we are a trusted partner that passionately supports our customers. Becoming part of GBH marks an important milestone in our history: it ensures the continuity of our values and offers both our teams and our customers new opportunities for growth and innovation. I am excited to join GBH and to continue leading the company while accelerating its growth.».
