Every choice has consequences: Let's continue our discussion on happiness.

I would like to remind readers that my name is Juliette Labonne Hollant; I live in the United States.

Many people harbor resentment toward society, forgetting that the way they live is, in fact, the result of the choices they have made throughout their lives. We are all responsible for the lifestyle that determines our well-being. The fable of the grasshopper and the ant shows us that every choice has consequences. While the ant works tirelessly all summer to prepare for winter, the grasshopper does nothing but sing. When winter arrives, the ant has enough to treat with his family, while the cicada has nothing to eat. What does she do? She asks the ant to give her something to eat, the ant to give her reply, you used to sing during the summer, «Well, dance now!”»…It's kind of sad but this fable justifies the title of the debate in question, « Every choice has consequences ».

One can choose to be dishonest in business, for example ’s’"to buy something of value and not pay pay bills on time. D’on the other hand, êto be being negligent in marriage, being lazy in one's studies (it's not obvious  from carefully prepare for schoolwork); to be an alcoholic without being able to control themselves; to be addicted to cigarettes, smoking two or three packs a day. I suppose that by devoting oneself to à drugs we forget temporarily life's obligations, it becomes a problem when...urges the In reality, then, We'll have to pay for it sooner or later. However, with a lot of determination, we can decide to take matters into our own hands his destiny and in in some way, to achieve a good balance in life.

I’ll conclude by saying that making wise choices is a power that every human being possesses to change the course of the happy or unhappy events that arise in their lives in order to achieve a degree of happiness.
